Q1 revenue of the 2026/2027 financial year
The Group mobilized to preserve its profitability, which was undermined by a particularly unfavorable month of September

In the 1st quarter of the 2026/2027 financial year, Damartex posted revenue of €98.6 Mn, down 8.0% at actual exchange rates compared to the 1st quarter of 2025/2026 (-8.3% at like for like exchange rates).
In the first three months of its new financial year, and particularly in September, activity was impacted by an extremely difficult environment for the clothing sector and more broadly for consumption. Historically hot summer temperatures, combined with weak consumer confidence in Europe due to a return of inflation and persistent geopolitical concerns, strongly weakened the purchasing dynamic. In France, this phenomenon was accentuated by the uncertainties surrounding the preparation of the 2027 budget.
The “Fashion” division recorded sales of €74.4 Mn in the first quarter, down 7.7% at real exchange rates (-7.9% at like for like exchange rates), in a French clothing market that experienced its worst performance in five years in September. The Damart brand closed the first quarter with a decline in sales of 8.4% at real exchange rates (-8.7% at like for like exchange rates), due to a postponement of purchases of the autumn-winter collection, a key season for the Group. However, the store network is showing resilience, confirming the attachment of customers to the point-of-sale experience.
Since October, the brand has been available in supermarkets for the first time, with a range of products specifically designed for this retail channel. Furthermore, Damart continues to expand its growth drivers in the tender market in France and Belgium, promoting its technical know-how through textile ranges adapted to certain professions (such as public security and defence).
Over the period, the Xandres brand achieved a turnover of €11.0 Mn. Although it operates in a similar consumer environment, it is more resilient to the economic situation, with a decline limited to 3.4%. It owes this to its premium positioning, a segment that is holding up better than the consumer market. In-store sales are showing good momentum, and the brand intends to continue its development in the Netherlands and Germany in the coming quarters.
“Home & Lifestyle” revenue was €17.2 Mn in the first quarter, down 11.1% at actual exchange rates (-11.5% at like for like exchange rates). Coopers of Stortford, and to a lesser extent 3Pagen, are suffering the same effects as the Fashion division, in a context where pressure on purchasing power continues to weigh on household spending and posted sales down 12.6% and 9.9% respectively at real exchange rates.
Finally, the “Healthcare” division recorded revenue of €7.0 Mn in the quarter, down slightly by 3.2% at constant actual exchange rates. The Santéol brand fell by 3.4%, penalized by heat waves: the heat led many patients to reduce their treatment time, leading to a drop in compliance and therefore, mechanically, in billing. Although down 5.2% in the first quarter, Almadia is starting to stabilize its business, with September revenue stable year-on-year.
The recurring instability linked to climatic and geopolitical events reinforces Damartex’s prudent approach, which is pursuing a tighter management of its activities to preserve its profitability as much as possible. This rigorous management is part of the broader framework of the Group’s new strategic roadmap, “Drive to perform, Care to transform 2030”, which aims to strengthen the coherence of its business portfolio, clean up its balance sheet and focus its investments on higher value-added activities.
