{"id":4836,"date":"2022-04-29T17:54:19","date_gmt":"2022-04-29T15:54:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/damartex.com\/?p=4836"},"modified":"2022-04-29T17:54:20","modified_gmt":"2022-04-29T15:54:20","slug":"acquisition-of-the-medical-sante-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/damartex.com\/en\/acquisition-of-the-medical-sante-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Acquisition of the M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9 Group"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Further development in the \u201cHealthcare\u201d sector and restructuring of the homecare (MAD) activity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its \u2018<em>Transform To Accelerate &#8211; TTA 2.0\u2019<\/em> transformation plan, the Damartex group announced its acquisition of 100% of the shares in the M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9 group, thereby reinforcing its position as a European leader in the Silver Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Created in 1997 by Charles-Henri Bastien and based in Mons-en-Bar\u0153ul (59), the M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9 group boasts a staff of 85 employees and offers homecare health products (MAD) and services (PSAD). M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9 generated a turnover of \u20ac 10 M in 2021 thanks to the trust it has built with more than 800 chemists as well as hospitals and associations, and also through the development of e-commerce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following this acquisition, Damartex plans on merging M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9 with S\u00e9dagyl, the Group\u2019s platform for comfortable living solutions. It was created in 1995 and specialises in homecare for seniors. Their complementary business models will further the Group\u2019s goal of offering the best omnichannel products and services offer on the market, while establishing a relationship with its patients and customers based on respect and trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charles-Henri Bastien will support the integration of M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9 through the summer of 2022. Christian Marie, who has extensive experience in this sector, will join the Damartex group as the Managing Director of the new homecare department (with M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9 and S\u00e9dagyl) and will be in charge of developing this activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cI am delighted and extremely proud of M\u00e9dical Sant\u00e9\u2019s integration within the Damartex group, which shares our values.
