Originally, the Damart brand was established in 1953 by the Despature family, originating in Northern France. Since its creation, the Group has benefited from a stable family shareholder structure.

Through international development and the creation and acquisition of brands, today the Damartex Group trades under eleven brand names which all target seniors. It is the specialist in the retail of textile and personal & household goods in an omni channel mode in 7 countries.
